Emax RS2205S 2300KV 2600KV Racing Edition Brushless Motor for FPV Racing

The completely redesigned RS2205-S is upgraded with features racing multirotors absolutely need. The motor is lighter, yields faster bell rotational response, higher thrust, uses premium materials and backed with EMAX's legendary production quality.

Lighter and Lower Profile:
2 grams lighter than the first version of the RS2205, the RS2205-S is a 2205 motor which has been overhauled for the weight conscious racer. The bell has been redesigned to have a lower profile without sacrificing the structural integrity of the motor.  This eliminates unnecessary mass and allows quicker rotational response of the bell. The shorter motor height allows a lower center of gravity closer to the mounting point.

RS2205-S cooling fins have been reworked to keep the motor height and weight low while maintaining functionality.

N52SH Curved Magnets:
By utilizing N52SH curved magnets, the pulling force between the stator and magnet is greatly increased. The design of the motor extracts every bit of force from these magnets and keeps it constant throughout the phases.

Genuine Japanese NMB bearings ensure smooth, long-lasting performance.

Compared to the RS2205, the new RS225-S cranks out another 100g of thrust. Paired with a KingKon 6x4 propeller, expect over 1,400 grams of thrust (Check out the full motor results:).

Hollowed Steel Prop shaft and main shaft:
The upgraded shafts maximize durability. No worry of damaging threads during crashes.

Bell Retaining Screw:
No more E-Clips. With a retaining screw, RS2205-S has no chance of having bells po out during a race. It is also easy to service the motor without needing a special tool.

EMAX Legendary Production Quality:

Engineered and produced In-House with state-of-the-art production techniques and machines, every motor that comes out of our factory is guaranteed to have the tightest build tolerances. It is with this ability, that we can achieve 0.10mm magnet to stator air-gap and crash-durability racers come to love.

these things rock! mine have taken a beating here and there and hold up well. the screw to hold the bell on is preferred instead of the c-clip. the power from these motors will not disappoint. I'm running them on 30A ESC and they are snappy.

Run these on my Vortex 250 and they rip! Not too much amp draw for the stock ESCs and still decent flight times.

I use these on mostly 3S on an ultralight 5" and it screams! Even faster on 4S of course but runs hotter. For 3S only you could use the 2600kV version, but for 4S most people say to go with the 2300kv version.

I've been using the Emax motors on my planes. Great power and light weight for the thrust output.

Very smooth flying motor, bearings were smooth, the magnet gap is tight! It's too bad the wires are so short though. You end up cutting them anyways to solder to an esc mounted on the arm. This removes the option of using an AIO or 4X ESC.

torque punchy motors with extra power compared to the older 2205 emax. threads only one direction.

I have a set of last years RS2205 and a set of these and these are extremely powerful and lighter. The difference in hand spinning the bell is supersizing. This wa purchase a as a spare just in case and i like the box and Allen wrench LOL oh and the foam. The emax quality is real and i like it

A couple of the 4 I got make a clicking/grinding noise and definitely dont spin as nicely, but I think it will end up wearing in. Nice packaging

I absolutely love these little screamers i will be buying these until they no longer make or have these. You can pay 27.00 dollars US for motors and they will outperform these at higher amperage wont be as durable and when you pay 15.00 dollars to replace one bell instead of the same price and getting two from EMAX you wont be happy anymore. If you have not had a set of these you owe it to yourself to get a set and at 16 dollars don't do a racerstar super racer spend a little for these. I sometimes think these are as good as it gets and any better is just sacrificing durability or efficiency AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA LOVE EM!!!!

Best motors I've ever used in the 6 years I've been building and flying drones. You CAN NOT beat the performance you get from these at any other price point and I think that many other much higher priced motors don't even perform as well as these do. These are perfect for 250mm sized frames and offer more than enough lift. On a 4s battery these motors offer over 1kg of thrust PER MOTOR!!!

It's a great and powerful motor, good bearings, tight magnet gap, but why cut the wires so short? They are not long enough to use AIO or 4X ESC, and must be cut anyways if you mount the ESC on the arm!
